The staff is composed of Christian, qualified teachers and administrators dedicated to meeting each child's developmental needs: spiritual, emotional, social, physical and intellectual.They value each child as a special and unique individual. The staff is committed to personal, professional, and Christian growth. All staff members have completed Pediatric CPR, Universal Precautions and First Aid.  Lead teachers, the Director, and the Administrative Assistant have been trained in Medication Administration. Each staff member must attend a minimum of 15 hours of early childhood professional development training each year.  All lead teachers and Director have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and classes in early childhood education as required by the Colorado State Department of Human Services.  Based on class size, each classroom has a lead teacher and assistant teacher.  In some cases, a parent helper is also present.

As the Director of Faith Community Child Development Center (FCCDC) I am so honored to be able to be a part of your children's lives.  I am starting my 4th year at Faith.   I have taught preschool programs for several years and truly enjoy working with this age group.  I am a native of Colorado and enjoy reading, gardening ,any out door sports event you can find and just spending time with my family and friends. I have been blessed with three wonderful children, Brayden, Tyce and Noah.  Thank you for sharing you children with me – I feel blessed to have them at FCCDC! – Robynn Doty

Hi, my name is Sharon Mason.  This is the start of my 28th year at FCCDC where I have had the privilege to work with the most amazing children and parents.  I graduated from Arizona State University with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education/Learning Disabilities.  I’ve been married to Roy for 40 years and am the blessed mother of 3 kids, grandmother of 6!  I enjoy scrapbooking, dark chocolate, and trying out new recipes.  -  Sharon Mason

My name is Jen Charkut.  This is my 5th year teaching at Faith although I have been a substitute at Faith for a couple of years.  I have three children who have all attended Faith!  I am so happy to be here in the Green room and look forward to meeting each of my parents and students.

My name is Liz McKay and I am starting my 28th year at Faith.  I have a degree in Child Development from NDSU. I love working with the youngest group at our school.    I have a son who is working part-time and going to college, and my daughter, who is employed at Kaiser as a pharmacy tech.  My husband and I enjoy traveling, going to movies, and going to sports events. – Liz McKay

Greetings from the Orange and Blue Room.  My name is Mary Ruddy.  This will be my 14th year as a teacher at Faith.  I have been married for 20 years.  My husband, John, works for Denver PD.  I have 2 children,  my son , John (22) and  a daughter, Erin (18).   Both children attended preschool here at Faith.  I love to golf, read, camp, scrapbook and spend time with family and friends in my free time. – Mary Ruddy


My name is Angie Scherling.  My husband John and I have been married for 40 years.  We have two daughters, Karen,  and Kathy, who married Richard Rinta and are celebrating their 9th   anniversary in October.  I have worked at the Child Development Center for 34 years – when it first started.  I like to walk my dog and volunteer for Meals on Wheels. – Angie Scherling
